Remedies for Motion Sickness

Planes, trains, cars, boats,
Turning, whizzing, rocking redound.
Roller coasters, upside down,
Spinning, whirling, merry go round.

Dizzy, sweaty, nauseated, sick.
Which homeopathic remedy will do the trick?

Some people love the thrill of speed, the rush of adrenaline, and the rapid motion that changes surroundings into a blur of color. Others just feel sick. Kinetosis, (an abnormal movement condition) also known as motion sickness, travel sickness, and car sickness, often starts with queasiness, sweating, and dizziness when a person is traveling on the land, in the air, or on water. When there is a conflict between what the eyes see and what the inner ear detects, the delicate balance mechanism of the body can become disrupted, leading to the unpleasant symptoms of motion sickness. About a third of children and pregnant women are prone to motion sickness. Some children outgrow this tendency, but others struggle during travel into adulthood.

Instead of reaching for anti-nausea medication, consider the following homeopathic remedies, which are effective for motion sickness and without side-effects. Use of the indicated homeopathic remedy can reduce the tendency for motion sickness and, when used before traveling, can prevent its occurrence. Since homeopathy is highly individualized, specific symptoms should closely match the chosen remedy. Although some general symptoms like nausea are common, not everyone experiences motion sickness in the same way.
